Lanais and Screen Enclosures in Southwest Florida

We measure the slab, roof line, openings and drainage before laying out the enclosure.

A lanai or screen enclosure from K.O. Solutions FL lets a Southwest Florida homeowner close in an existing patio or push further out into the yard. Keep the bugs out and use the space all year. We build custom lanais, screened rooms and entry enclosures in aluminum, sized to the house. Estimates are free and the work carries a two year workmanship warranty.

Will a screen enclosure in Southwest Florida really keep the bugs out?

Enclose your current outdoor living space or extend further into your backyard. Keep out the bugs and enjoy the outside.

Close in the space you already have

Many lanai projects start with an existing slab and roof line. We measure both, check where the posts and doors can land and plan the enclosure around how you use the space.

If the room needs to extend beyond the slab, that changes the foundation, roof and drainage work. We show both scopes separately so you can decide whether the extra space is worth it.

Aluminum that holds up in this climate

The frame, finish, screen and hardware are selected as one enclosure. We review the available materials against the exposure, appearance and maintenance needs of the property.

The roof changes how the space works. Screen overhead keeps the enclosure open. An insulated aluminum roof adds permanent shade and rain cover, with gutters and downspouts planned around the patio.

Lanais and Screen Enclosures questions

Will it keep the bugs out?

Yes, that is the point of it. We fit the screen to the openings and hang the door so the whole enclosure seals. Tell us what has been getting through and we will match the mesh to it.

Can you screen in a patio that is already poured?

Usually, yes. That is the most common job we do. We check the slab and the roof line at the estimate and tell you what the structure will carry before you commit to anything.

Can the enclosure go past my existing slab?

It can. Extending further into the backyard is a bigger job because the footing and the deck have to come first, so we price both options and let you compare them side by side.

Do you screen front entryways too?

Yes. A screened entry enclosure over the front door is one of the smaller jobs we do and it keeps the bugs out of the house every time someone opens it.
