We inspect the frame first, then scope the screen, fasteners, finish and structural repairs it needs.

K.O. Solutions FL rescreens and restores aluminum pool cages and screen enclosures across Southwest Florida. We inspect the frame, remove the old screen, prepare and repaint the aluminum, replace worn fasteners and hardware, complete needed frame repairs and install new screen. A sound frame may be a candidate for restoration instead of replacement. Estimates are free.

Is it cheaper to restore a pool cage in Southwest Florida or replace it?

We take old aluminum enclosures and transform them into something that looks brand new. We sand, paint, screw and rescreen the entire enclosure.

The frame decides whether restoration makes sense

Storm damage can affect the screen, fasteners, doors, finish or frame. We inspect those parts separately because torn mesh does not automatically mean the aluminum structure needs replacement.

When the frame is suitable for restoration, we remove the screen, prepare and repaint the aluminum, replace worn fasteners and hardware, complete the agreed repairs and install new screen.

Restore or replace, we will tell you which

We look at the members, connections, anchors and corners before recommending restoration. If damaged aluminum needs structural repair or replacement, that work appears in the scope instead of being hidden by new screen and paint.

Restoration can cost less than replacement when the existing frame is serviceable. We price the work after the inspection so you can compare the options against the actual condition of the enclosure.

If it is one panel or a door, see screen repair

Rescreening and Storm Repair questions

Is it cheaper to restore my cage or replace it?

Restoration can cost less when the existing frame is serviceable. We inspect the structure first and explain whether repair, restoration or replacement fits its condition.

How long will a restored enclosure last?

That depends on the condition of the frame underneath, which is exactly what we check first. If the structure is sound, new screen, new fasteners and a repaint put it back in service. If it is not sound, we will tell you rather than paint over it.

Half my panels are fine. Do I have to do all of them?

No. We replace torn and blown out panels on their own all the time. Whether it is worth doing the whole enclosure usually comes down to how faded the rest of the screen already is.

What about the rusted screws?

We inspect the fasteners throughout the enclosure and list needed replacement in the restoration scope.
